One-on-One Online Tutoring

One-on-One online tutoring provides students with real-time, highly effective tutoring with the added benefits of tremendous convenience and scheduling flexibility.  In fact, many of our local South Florida students that were being tutored in their homes have changed over to the on-line method of instruction.  TutorMeTeam provides our students with all of the same topics on-line as we offer when we come to your home. 

Today’s students are so proficient on their computers.  Using the keyboard and mouse come so naturally to them.  Our on-line program involves them calling in at the scheduled time and working with their tutor right on their computer screen. 

Best of all, there’s no additional software to buy!  Everything our students need is right on the screen for them when their tutoring session begins. 

Here’s how it works.  During the tutoring session, the tutor and student write on a two-way blackboard (also known as the ‘whiteboard’) over the computer while speaking to each other by telephone, computer microphone or webcam, if you have one.  The One-on-One tutoring sessions are exactly like meeting in person because these sessions incorporate both the visual and vocal components necessary to be effective. But with our on-line math tutoring service, the students also have the added benefits of being in the comfort of their own home, and scheduling session times at any hour of the day which is most convenient for them.

During each One-on-One tutoring session, the student will always work with the same tutor. We believe this is necessary for continuity purposes in building an effective learning relationship between the tutor and student. This individual customization and personalization of the tutoring sessions will enable the student to learn most effectively. Also, during the tutoring sessions we place great importance and effort into developing a confidence building, relaxed environment, full of positive reinforcement, which will contribute to the student achieving maximum results.
